Tony Appleton, Royalist Town Crier meets the Queen on her 90th Birthday celebration walkabout on April 21st 2016. The Queen stopped to ask Tony about the Royalist badge he was wearing. Needless to say Tony was delighted that Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II stopped to talk to him.

Tony Appleton, Royalist Town Crier proclaims that a new Meghan Markle waxwork is to be added to Madame Tussauds, next to Prince Harry’s waxwork. Tony made the proclamation to press outside Buckingham Palace.

Tony commented on the day “I had a premonition last night,” the 81-year-old from Great Baddow, Essex, said.

Quizzed on what the engagement announcement means to him, he said: “Everybody wants Harry to get married, including me. I think this seals it, absolutely. I think if Diana was alive she would be so proud of him, so proud of him.”
